When it comes to safely detoxing, there are certain steps that should be taken into account.

Step 1

The first thing we should be doing when it comes to even starting a detox protocol is to make sure our body has a good foundation to minimize the toxic load with your environment and what you are putting in and on your body.

Diet and lifestyle changes should always be addressed first! While we will never be able to get away from the toxins, we can at least control and minimize giving out body to work properly without being overwhelmed with a toxic load.

Whole foods, hydration, sleep, stress management are important!

Step 2

My first question after diet and lifestyle is usually how often are you going to the bathroom everyday?

While our body was naturally designed to toxic on its own, In order for the body to be able to expel toxins without building up and causing issues further issues, we should be going to the bathroom regularly and a few times a day.

If you are not currently pooping 2-3 times per day, adding in extra fiber into your diet or adding in a supplement that aids your colon like Colon Pro for successful elimination. I prefer both Colon Pro and adding in psyllium husk powder to my shakes.

Step 3

Supporting other drainage organs and pathways.

Kidney Pro and Liver Pro are great supporting herbal supplements to help aid in your body’s natural pathway.

Since the lymphatic system is not something that moves on it’s on, exercises, lymphatic massages, dry brushing, and even investing in a vibration plate like I did, supports this system.

Step 4

Binders are important!

There are many binders for many things based on the issue on hand and the goal. This is something I prefer to take case by case due to the many factors based on the research I have found. That said, I will not use activated charcoal unless there is a very strict and specific goal in detoxing certain parasites. I would avoid zeolite altogether. Pectasol C is great for mold, psyllium husk is great not just for added fiber but also as a binder, cistus tea is great for Lyme and overall great detox/binder support.

My favorite safest binder that always test well to all things is fulvic. Keep in mind that not all fulvic is the same. Quality does matter!

Step 5

Rejuvenation!

Restoring the body is something that is not often talked about but very important. When the toxins have been detoxed out, making sure you fill those spots with the proper minerals.

Fulvic is another winner for this because it can bind and support at the same time, it tests very well as a great supportive supplement in this category.

Things to keep in mind*

Since everyone is on a different step protocols can vary from person to person.

The goal should be for a safe detox and not an overwhelming one that allows for negative symptoms.

Supporting and detoxing the brain is something I recommend and Burbur pinella is a great tincture to add in.

If you up your supporting drainage supplements, make sure you are also upping your binders.

Short detoxes around the full moon is a great option with starting 2-3 days before the full moon and continuing 2-3 days after.

For longer detoxes, 5 days on, 2 days off is a good starting point but knowing to muscle testing not only can hep with setting a good plan but also with which supplements fit your needs best.
